Hey Jack,
Your site looks great. Haven't been able to catch seeing you the few times I've been back to Nashville, but soon I hope to hear your new band with Reese Wynans. You're still in my thoughts and prayers, and I still miss those Wednesday night Nationals shows at the 'Boro. That music was like medicine. Take good care. Peace.

I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Pearson perform with Govt Mule in the Ryman in November. He played with the Mule on Soulshine and Gentleman Warren Haynes let him play his masterful slide style throughout the rendition. Jack Pearson is truly a master guitarist!

JACK'S THE BEST THING THE ALLMAN BROTHER'S BAND HAS HAD SINCE DUANE AND BERRY PASSED ON . THE ALL OUT KICK ASS DUELS WITH JACKIE AND DICKIE WERE THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN . WARREN AND DEREK AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON JACKIE AND DICKIE , AND JACKIE STANDS ALONE AS THE SLICKEST SLIDE PLAYER , HE'S A PROPHET SENT TO US FROM THE SOULS OF ROBERT JOHNSON AND DUANE ALLMAN . I THINK IT WOULD BE BAD ASS IF JACKIE AND DICKEY DID A CD OF THAT OLD TIMIN' MUSIC , A ROBERT JOHNSON ALBUM . . . .

Just gotta like a guy that appreciates G&Ls. Funny how small our world is sometimes Jack. Somewhere around here I have a pic of Derek sittin on the bed playing my gold '99'Commanche (Wagon Burner) w/birdseye maple neck, after a DTB show in Toronto . Seems I bought this guitar from a friend of yours Jack. Couldn't tell ya his name now but it certainly is a fine addition to my pile of G&Ls. Also I think the best performance I ever saw ya do was when you were recovering from your apendectomy. Ya did a damn fine job for a guy with a big ugly hole in his gut. My brother had the same operation at the same time you did down in Jax beach. Hope your scar ain't as nasty as his!!!
Peace!

We both went to MTSU and lived in Murfreesboro from 1994 until 2000. I celebrated my 21st birthday listening to a Nationals show at the 'boro. I watched you and William with ABB at Mud Island. My friends and I tried to get you'll to play "Sailin' Cross the Devil's Sea" at a Nationals show, but you wouldn't do it. And I saw you, Allen Woody, and Derek Trucks jam at Mainstreet. I heard a lot of your influence rub off on my roomate Evan Hale and on Denny Presley and Tony. Well it's cool I ran across your site. This is one of the first times I've been on the internet so you are the first E-mail I've sent. I heard you and the Nationals aren't playing. Maybe you'll start back someday. I live in Chattanooga but I head up to Nashville every now and then. I hope to listen to you play again soon. You guys were the best music dollar spent in my book. A lot of students/musicians fed off of your flow Mr. Pearson. Keep jammin.

Maybe you could e-mail me back and tell me or i could just keep on begging. My e-mail is jxm04@uark.edu. I really hope to here frm you. Thanks Joey

Hello Jack:
Love your music. Your guitar work is soulful and very moving. It is also very intense. I think that you voice is just right for the blues. Any chance you might do a gig in South Alabama or even B-ham?
Thanks

I'm 39 yrs. old, and have been playing guitar since I was about 6 or 7 yrs. old. I first saw you perform at the Allman Bros.concert at Great Woods. I was'nt there, but I recorded from cable. I have been diligently searching for some of your slide guitar material. I've done some studio work, and played quite-a-bit of slide guitar myself, but, in my opinion, YOU ARE THE MAN!! Warren Haynes doesn't have anything on you. You're method is phenomenal. Your slide is the smoothest I've ever seen. Would love to jam with you sometime if your in my area. Have access to major sound system and other very efficient and quite impressive musicians.
If you want to break the monotomy sometime, and happen to be in my "neck-of-the-woods," let me know.
